Since 1972 Tru-tech Fibreglass Industries Limited has been involved in the design and manufacture of large-scale glass reinforced products in New Zealand. Swimming pools, birthing pools, shower trays and caravan parts, tannery equipment, bin-tainers, toilet pan extensions and horse float tops are just some of the range of quality products designed and manufactured specifically to cater for New Zealand conditions. 

The business originally started as Tropicana Fibreglass in the early seventies mainly in the swimming pool sector.  In addition to making swimming pools, we started to manufacture products for the tanning & industrial industries. In the early nineties we decided to change our name to Tru-Tech Fiberglass Industries to correspond to the variety of products that we make.  Tropicana Pools remain the brand name for the two moulded swimming pools that we manufacture. 

Tru-Tech Fibreglass is a family owned and operated business with Brendon Trower the current owner after his parents Dennis and Pauline retired.
